I am a hobbyist photographer, and I feel content in keeping it that way, for now... I have a background in architecture and design where I have honed my sense of aesthetics and composition, but my photography skill set has mostly been self taught. I have a deep passion for things of nature and the world of outdoors and I spend as much time as is affordable immersing myself in the natural world in search of intriguing displays of patterns, light and shadow. I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel, by way of bicycle, foot, and motor.  Many of the images you see here have been taken from my times of travel.
